Paradise Creek Nature Park offers a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Neary 2,000 adults and children have helped remove invasive plants, planted native trees, weeded garden beds, removed trash from the trails and wetland, and helped maintain education zones throughout the park. See below for volunteer dates and times or contact Yolima Carr (firstname.lastname@example.org) to schedule a private event for groups of 10 or more.
Programs will be canceled in the event of foul weather: rain, storms, snow, temperatures above 90F or below 40F. Please register in advance so we can notify you directly of any changes.
Help pull invasive species, plant native species, mulch and compost new plants, and maintain trails. Dress to get down and dirty! Closed-toe shoes and long-pants advised. Bring sunscreen, insect repellant and water bottle.
Dates: Saturdays, June 15, July 13, 27; Aug. 10, 31; Sept. 7
Time: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Target Age: 12 and above. Ages 12-16 must be accompianied by and adult.
Out of respect for our staff and other volunteers, please make sure you are arrive promptly at 9:00 AM for safety information and a site tour. Project assignments begin promptly at 9:30 AM.
